Indoor Community Assessments!
Overview of the Assessment Process
Who:
Community players from U9 to U19
Purpose:
To assess player skills and assign them to teams based on skill level and like-mindedness.
Use:
The assessment also helps in determining the appropriate team tier, which will be submitted to EMSA (Edmonton Minor Soccer Association).
Structure of Assessments
Activities:
Skills-based drills
Scrimmage
Facilitators:
Run by the Arsenal Community Program Director and Assistant Director
Assessment evaluators are seasoned coaches
Required Equipment
Gym shorts
Shin guards
Soccer socks
Indoor soccer shoes (or running shoes if indoor shoes aren't available)
Water bottle
Additional Notes
Arrival Time:
Players are asked to arrive
15 minutes before check-in
