Required Soccer Equipment

For player safety, Alberta Soccer does not allow any jewelry to be worn during games or practices. Taping jewelry is not sufficient to prevent injury.

We recommend that players bring a labeled water bottle to all practices and games.

Equipment Needed:

Junior Arsenal (U5-U7):

• Indoor shoes (for indoor season) or outdoor soccer cleats (for outdoor season)

Arsenal (U9-U19):

• Indoor soccer shoes (for indoor season) or outdoor soccer cleats (for outdoor season)

For All Ages (U5-U19):

• Black soccer shorts (both seasons)
• Black soccer socks (both seasons)
• Shin pads (both seasons)

Jerseys

• Junior Arsenal (U5-U7): Players will receive T-shirts that match their assigned group. These are theirs to keep.

• Arsenal Players (U9-U19): Players will receive jerseys on loan for the season. A $100 jersey deposit cheque is required from players at the beginning of the season. Jerseys should only be worn during games. At the end of the season, jerseys must be returned to the coach, washed and undamaged.

Note for Parents: Please remember to wash your child's jersey, shorts, and socks regularly. Shin pads can be washed and air-dried. Avoid using hot dryers, as they can damage jerseys.
